Eric Schaefer, PT
Physical Therapist/Clinic Director
A native of Pittsburgh, PA, Eric grew up in West Virginia and graduated from West Virginia University's School of Physical Therapy in 1992. After 10 years in Las Vegas, NV, Eric moved to the Spokane area with his wife and 2 children. He has 24 years of experience in outpatient orthopedics; having worked closely with area physicians and orthopedic surgeons to develop protocols to obtain optimal outcomes following orthopedic surgery. Eric is committed to providing excellent clinical care and providing superior customer service to all of his patients. He is an avid snow skier in the winter and enjoys camping and mountain biking in the summer.
Chris Hollman, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
Chris was born and raised in Spokane and is excited to be back home serving his community. In 2010, while playing soccer for North Idaho College, Chris discovered that his desire to help others combined with his fascination with the human body made a career in Physical Therapy a natural fit. He earned his Physical Therapist Assistant degree in 2015 and moved back to Spokane shortly thereafter. Chris is passionate about empowering others to live an active and healthy lifestyle. If he’s not at the clinic you will most likely find him skiing, rock climbing, or trail running (usually with his faithful dog Abigail by his side).
Grant Lundberg, PT, DPT, OCS
Physical Therapist/Clinic Director
Grant was born and raised in Spokane. He graduated from Gonzaga University in 2008 with a degree in Exercise Science, and was a soccer player as well. He completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Regis University in 2011. He was then accepted into the Orthopedic Residency Program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and graduated in 2012. He passed his Board Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy in 2013. He returned to Denver and worked at an outpatient orthopedic clinic for the next 4 years.
He enjoys treatment of all orthopedic injuries but finds special interest in management of chronic spine pain and hip/knee joint dysfunctions. Grant met his wife at Gonzaga University and both are avid Gonzaga basketball fans. They have two children together which keep them very busy. He enjoys playing soccer, skiing and any activities with his family.
Jesse Brouwer, PT, DPT, CMP
Jesse was born and raised in the Yakima Valley. He completed his undergraduate studies at Whitworth University before graduating with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Eastern Washington University in 2015. After graduation, Jesse worked with patients in an outpatient setting in North Idaho for several years. During this time, he completed training and examination to become a Certified Mulligan Practitioner (CMP). He is passionate about providing patient-centered care and empowering patients to reach their full potential.
Jesse is an avid basketball player and sports fan. He and his wife, Tricia, enjoy living in the Spokane area and are proud to be a part of the Inspire family.
Ricky Schrantz, PT, DPT, OCS
Ricky grew up in the Oklahoma City area. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Health and Exercise Science at the University of Oklahoma and continued on to obtain his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from their Health Sciences center in 2016.
Ricky worked for over a year in an Oklahoma Physical Therapy clinic before becoming a traveling PT where he worked in rural Montana, different areas of Oklahoma, and northern Idaho. He received Board Certification in June of 2018 in Orthopedic Physical Therapy.
Ricky enjoys treating patients with a wide variety of orthopedic injuries, particularly shoulder issues and patients with persistent pain. He enjoys helping patients return to active lifestyles.
He recently relocated to Spokane and enjoys all the outdoor activities the area has to offer.
Tim Papineau, MPT
Lead Physical Therapist
Tim was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. He grew up in the Seattle area, then attended Washington State University for his freshman year. There, he was a part of the rowing team and grew abundantly as a team player. He later went to Lewis & Clark State College pursuing his passion for baseball. He graduated with his degree in Biology in 1993. After obtaining his Master's degree in Physical Therapy from Eastern Washington University in 1998, he began working at Latah Therapy Works in Moscow, Idaho. He later became Director of Rehabilitation and assisted in starting up community programs at rural health clinics and a pre/post-natal aquatic exercise program. In 2006, Tim moved to Spokane and worked in outpatient orthopedics in Spokane, Spokane Valley, and Coeur d'Alene. While in the Spokane area, he has assisted in University High School athletics, with the Alberta Ballet, Bloomsday, and other community based programs.
He is passionate about treating all orthopedic injuries and helping clients return to their optimal, physical abilities. Tim, his wife, and four children are proud to call the Spokane community "home". Together, the stay busy hiking, biking, playing, praying, and attending Spokane Indian Baseball games in the summertime.
Kevin DeJong, DPT
Kevin grew up in the Yakima Valley. He completed his undergraduate studies at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology as well as minoring in Psychology and Biology. In June 2018, he graduated with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Eastern Washington University where he also served as President of the graduating physical therapy class of 2018. His focus as he enters the physical therapy field with Inspire is on growing in the profession to provide evidence-based, patient-centered care.
Kevin is engaged to be married to his fiancé, Marissa, in June of 2019. Together they plan to remain in the Spokane area to settle and grow in the unique community they have come to love.
